It is easy to find ourselves unprepared or ill-equipped to respond to a Neighbor seeking assistance. BirdHouse is here to encourage those with the means to help, to P. R. E. P. for opportunities to share a gift card with someone in need. Join us in the habit of making room for a neighbor and witness how lives in our communities are impacted!

Pre-Order

• Pre-order your BirdHouse gift card(s) though our Mobile/Web app or click here.
• Keep your gift cards in a safe, yet accessible place enabling you to respond promptly. Examples: Car, Wallet, Purse, Phone case card sleeve

Respond

• With your gift cards in tow, be ready to respond to someone seeking help.
• Please refrain from assuming a need is present. We encourage distributors of gift cards to respond to a Neighbor actively seeking assistance. Examples: A written sign, verbal requests, receptive posture of and extended hand.
• Carefully discern & Exercise safety - Any voluntary outreach activity/efforts not overseen by BirdHouse assume any risk associated with response interactions

Equip

• Equip our Neighbors with BirdHouse gift cards!! These enable cardholders to make purchases within our growing network of stores to meet their individual needs.
• BirdHouse strongly believes in establishing trust, engaging in conversation and seeing what other needs may be present when feasible. Our Local Resources page provides a listing of nearby organizations, clinics, and shelters that are eager to aid Neighbors in their specialized capacities (IDs, job placement, housing, financial stewardship)
