Below you will find important information, along with answers to common questions.
- "Do you take walk-ins?" No, we are a by appointment only studio. If you are looking to get work done, the best way is to fill out a consultation sheet on our app, or send us a detailed email. (Please note: we do on occasion host walk-in events, make sure you follow our social media pages for up to date info on all of our special events!)
- "Should I just stop in to discuss things?" No. When we are at the studio, we are with our clients. When we have to stop tattooing/spending time with our scheduled clients, to assist someone just walking in, it's not fair to our clients/artists for numerous reasons, not to mention we won't be able to truly discuss things with you. If you are ready, fill out a consultation sheet, or send us an email.
- "Can I get a tattoo at your studio if I'm under 18?" No. Not even with guardian permission. Illinois state law does not allow individuals under 18 to get tattooed, regardless of consent.
- "Do you do piercings?" Nope, we do not. Our studio offers tattoo services, along with other artwork needs, (such as canvas, digital, murals, etc.)
- "What's the best way to get things started?" First off, please be ready and serious. If you are, you can fill out a tattoo inquiry, on our website or app. Regardless of the route you choose, make sure you include all important information. This will make it easier for everyone involved.
- "Is a deposit required?" Yes, it is. Before any appointments and/or us to start designing for you, a non-refundable deposit must be paid. Depending on the project, the deposit will range from $100 to the price of the last sit. Never send money prior to approval from an artist. Deposits expire after nine months of complete inactivity, (basically if you disappear and we don't hear from you in nine months, we will assume you are not wanting to complete said project.)
- "What payment options do you take?" Cash, Apple Pay and credit/debit card.
- "Do you sell aftercare? Yes. We have 1oz and 5oz options available. The aftercare we recommend/use/sell is Hustle Butter. It is all natural ingredients, completely vegan friendly, and designed to care for tattoos.
- "Are you vegan friendly?" Yes, we are! All of our products are vegan friendly, so you never have to worry.
Things you never need to remind us of..
- That tattoos are permanent. We are very much aware of this.
- That it's serious. Again, we are completely aware of this.
- That you only get tattoos that have the upmost meaning to you. If that's how you roll, that's great. But there is also nothing wrong with those that just enjoy getting awesome artwork.
- That your cousin, neighbor, sister in laws ex, or anyone else that you might know, can do it cheaper. If that is the route you want to go, more power to you. We will not be upset.
Please do not...
*Try to barter with us. We are a very small business, not big corporate. Our pricing is based off of tons of factors, including the massive price rises in several of our needed supplies. We also use top of the line products, as we take the entire process seriously. If you are not cool with the price we give you, that's ok. Your budget is your budget, but expecting us to explain to you why our prices are our prices, is unneeded, and you won't get a response.
*Ask us what the price of a "small tattoo," "foot tattoo," "sleeve," etc, will cost. Just like you can't call the grocery store and ask how much a small bag of groceries are, or call a car lot and ask how much a SUV costs… we can not give pricing and/or address your project correctly, without all the proper information.
