DAILY WALK

Good Morning, this morning at 8 brother Jerry Raynor is to be discharged from Novant to go to pain management for a shot that we pray will continue to give him relief. Please pray for him and the Dr. that this will give the needed relief. Brother Jeff Summers from Sneads Ferry is to go to Duke for more treatment so please pray for him and for Nathan Wells as he is treated at Duke. God is still on the throne and is the Great Physician. Can you be a help to these who desperately need a touch from on High? Our reading today is Deuteronomy 1-3 and Luke 8. An old group from Egypt have wandered through the wilderness and a new group is about to enter the Promised Land. Rebellion, complaining and insurrection have been their lot but a covenant God has dwelt with them and is about to see the under a new leader and a new generation to victory. Doubt fear and disobedience has cost them and now a restatement of Leviticus will lead them ahead. It had been for the priests and now for the people we have the walk of the people of God. Look at Hebrews 4:1 and remember there is a time and a season for repentance. We must advance in God's timing and in God's way if we expect God's blessings. Deuteronomy is the last of the five Books of Moses, the Pentateuch. In chapter 3 we meet Og, an Amorite king of Bastian. He was a giant that his bed was made of iron with the dimensions of it 18 ft. 9 inches by 8 feet 4 inches wide.  Remember the old saying, the bigger they are the harder they fall? God would give victory  and He promises victory in your battles as well.  Be obedient for our God is able. In Luke 8 we learn that our Saviour is Lord over life and death. The Bible gives three dead people that Christ restored to life." O Victory in Jesus! my Saviour forever".

Pray one for another
