DAILY WALK

A New Year with God at the Helm. Steering of anything is most important and we realize this, especially in the realm of our lives and our families. Which way are we to go and who is in control is of utmost importance. We encourage you to follow the church's daily walk and let's once again go through our Bible for needed direction and understanding. Dr. Unger in his Bible handbook states, "The word Bible designates the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments." There is only one Bible -incomparable, unique as far as all other sacred literature is concerned because it is the Revelation of God. It is God-breathed and Inspired in a different sense of all other literature. It discloses God's plan and purposes for the ages of time and eternity. It centers in God incarnate in Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind." Today we look at Genesis 4-6 and Matthew 2. Yesterday we read of the creation of all things, The Garden of Eden, and the fall of man. Today we will see the earliest civilization, Metallurgy and the pre flood longevity. In Matthew we entered the New Testament with the Son of David, and in chapter 2 the visit of the wise men and the infancy of our Lord. Since many of you have read Genesis before I would encourage you to look for things you missed in your earlier reading.
