DAILY WALK

Good Morning, today we read Jeremiah 47 and 48, and I Thessalonians 1. In Jeremiah we see the judgment of God upon the Philistines and the people of Moab. Sometimes we forget the judgment of God comes slowly but is all so fine. Like a stone wheel for grinding corn or wheat it takes several turns but it produces the ingredients for meal and flour.  Finely ground into a powder almost but now useful. Our God is slow to anger, longsuffering, but does not forget the treatment to His people Israel. I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curseth you. Genesis 12:3. In I Thessalonians Paul defends the faith of the church there. In Acts 17 Paul tells of how in Thessalonica he had to leave after only three Sabbaths because of the Jews but he apparently had a better reception from the Gentiles. The theme of this book is the second coming of Jesus.

Pray one for the other and pray for Dr. R. B. Oulette.
