DAILY WALK

Good Morning, some of our people have been up most of the night preparing for todays Homecoming lunch. God be praised for 48 years of ministry in Wilmington and beyond. I am praying you will be able to attend today. Evangelist Chris Dallas will bring our Homecoming message and I am praying for God to move mightily. Our reading today is from Jeremiah 42 and Philippians 4.  Jeremiah has been approached by the people to talk to God for them and he does. His message was clear but the people did not want the message and disobeyed only to find God's judgment poured out. What happens when God's message is not what we want to hear? So often we respond as the people of Judah and will we get a different outcome than they did? To obey is better than sacrifice is what Samuel told Saul. In Philippians, we have several verses people often quote.  Verses 6 and7, verse 13, and verse 19. If you have not committed them to memory please do so.

Pray for the services and attend if possible. Pray one for the other.
