Our reading is Jeremiah 21 and II Corinthians 8. In Jeremiah 21 Zedekiah asked for Jeremiah to enquire of the Lord for Judah and Jeremiah was faithful to tell the message as it was given to him. The Babylonian captivity is foretold. In II Corinthians Paul instructs in giving. Read carefully the chapter.
