DAILY WALK

Good Morning, I hope you have enjoyed the live playing of music and encouragement each day. The radio gives us an opportunity to meet with you and bring a prayerful blessing into your lives each day as you begin. Thank you for all your support as we try to minister to each family member at the start of your day. Our reading today is Jeremiah 20 and II Corinthians 7. Being a prophet of God was no cakewalk. To relay the message from Holy God to a sinning people would actually cause an uprising against the messenger. Was Jeremiah telling the truth? Were the people guilty? Did they want to hear from one of their peers this messge of judgment by Jeremiah? Jeremiah asks in verse 18, why,was I born? Pashur, the priest in charge of the Temple, took the popular part and had Jeremiah whipped and put in stocks. It was a sad day when Jeremiah's few friends turned to the side of public opinion. I could only hope to be as righteous as Jeremiah. Paul did not have it easy either in his ministry as he relates to the people of Corinth but notice the encouragement of verse 10 as it relates to the struggle  of the flesh and the victory for Godliness. May we give ourselves more to prayer for one another and less criticism?  Read verse 10 and the victory of repentance.

Pray one for another
