DAILY WALK

Good Morning, On your way this morning tune in to your radio station 88.1.

Our reading today is Jeremiah 5 and I Corinthians 8. In Jeremiah 5 we see the Jeremiah searching for one righteous person in Jerusalem. It is obvious that God's righteous eye can be different than His people that have become a part of the world. When mans corruption has molded to the world and away from God no longer are they able to see correctly. Not one man that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth. Even though they say The LORD liveth, they swear falsely. Jeremiah warns that God is sending another nation to exercise judgment. That nation would be Babylon. Babylon and it's empire would flourish from 2225 B.C. Alexander the Great  would be used of God to capture it in 331 B.C.. Look at Verse 31 and hear the Word of the Lord. In I Corinthians 8 Paul confronts the problem of eating meats offered to idols. Our liberty in Christ should be weighed in the balance of our responsibility to the weaker brethren. Remember the babes in Christ should not be harmed for it would be better to tie a millstone around the neck and be cast into the sea and drowned. It would be good to hilight verse 9.

Pray one for the other
