DAILY WALK

Good Morning, our reading today is Jeremiah 3 and I Corinthians 6. Continuous unfaithfulness on the part of Israel, 10 tribes, brings the chastening hand of God. One would think this would have turned the actions of Judah, 2 tribes, but Judah continues to play the harlot as had Israel and this also would bring the same results as had been given to Israel. No amount of blessing from God was able to show repentance and even today the heart of Israel is turned from God. All should see that God is loving and forgiving but will not reserve His anger forever. Only a few will survive, Romans 11:5, and be regathered as the blessed of the Lord. Verses 14 - 19. This of course speaks of a time after the Tribulation and going into the Millennium. It is the message of Matthew 23:39 that shall move the people into turning to Christ Jesus and going into the Kingdom. The Church of Jesus is brought to see that living for Jesus is serious and the life of the Christian is demanding. We do not act like the world and Chapter 6 has an example of not carrying a believer to court to be settled by the world. Read Chapter 6 slowly and carefully and see the intended role of the Church and the call from the actions of the world. Underline verses 19 and 20. Our lives and bodies are to be set apart for Him.

Pray one for the other
