DAILY WALK
Good Morning, The golf tournament was rescheduled for this coming Saturday due to many teams not wanting to play. Hopefully most will show up next week and the tornament will be a go. Some of us will be at Meagan and Will's wedding but Bobby will be able to go on without a few of us. Pray for a beautiful day for the wedding and the tournament. Today is Friend Day at Peace and I hope you can come and bring a friend. It will be a great day. Our reading today is Isaiah 66 and I Corinthians 3. Look at the opening verse of Isaiah 66 and remember the power and majesty of the Almighty. Many of the verses in this chapter are repeated in the New Testament. According to verses 7 and 8 we see the reason for the suffering of Israel and the result being testified to in the Millennium. Many today have no desire to meet for worship and they will be out of place if being in the Millennial Reign. Church is natural for the people of God. In I Corinthians 3 we learn that in the beginning of the church age there was a problem with carnal Christians. It is not sufficient to just be saved we must grow in grace and be able to put off more and more the old carnal nature. Paul states in Hebrews that the Christian must have holiness and without holiness, "no man shall see the Lord." Let us be overcomers not just church members.
Pray one for another
Pastor
