DAILY WALK

Good Morning, We look forward to the next few weeks as we enjoy the emphasis of drawing closer to God in concentrated worship. Revival, singing, praying, and studying are the elements we put forth in these days of longing for His presence. The Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah are September 16 and 17. Yom Kippur is September 25 with September 30-October 6 the days of Sukkot. These days are High Holy Days for the Jewish community but our days are equally important as we draw nigh to Him in Love and Worship each day. Remember Revival with Dr. Kendrick is Sunday through Wednesday, September 17-20. I believe Pastor Hong will return to Korea on Sept.18 for a medical check-up, so keep him in your prayers. Our reading today is Isaiah 51 and Romans 4.  Isaiah 51 in fulfillment is totally Millennial and yet the blessings contained are for remembrance to all the people of God. Special blessings for a people under persecution and great comfort in verses 1-12. Why should we be afraid of man for noticing how frail even the most powerful of our enemies are in the hand of God, verses 7 through 12?  Romans 4  declares that salvation is not by works but in faith as spoken in verses 16-25. Remember, if we are to be saved it is God that shall save us Look to Him in faith that the sacrifice of Jesus is the only hope of our salvation. " Amazing love! how can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? "

Pray one for another. Jerry is still in the hospital and Sondra is in Trinity Rehab.
