DAILY WALK
Good Morning, don't forget the comedy and fun night at Peace this Saturday night at 6. Bring your neighbors, family, and friends, and have a good time with a lot of laughter. Our reading today is Isaiah 20 and Luke 20. In Isaiah 20 we have an unusual vision placed before the people as the man of God is ordered by God to walk before the people naked for three years. All this is to show the breakdown of those that have invaded Judah and Assyria coming to take over the lands of Egypt and Ethiopia. When God allows a country to chastise His people you can be sure equal judgment will come upon the invaders. The wicked may rise but they also shall be brought down.In Luke 20 we have Our Lord teaching in the Temple when the chief priests and scribes confronted Him with the elders. By what authority He was asked and He gave them the parable of the vineyard and the owner is away. When the owner sends for an accounting the story of the vineyard and how the people sent by the owner had been treated. Finally, the man sends His Son and they kill him. This story tells of the coming death of Jesus and His treatment at the hands of the religious leaders who knew not God. Religious but lost.
Pray for traveling mercies for Jerry as he goes to Duke for a follow-up and pray for Angelia and Jeff as they make the trip with Glenda and Jerry.
