DAILY WALK
Thank you to all that keep us up and running! Good Morning. Every day God gives us is a blessed day. I thank Him for Life and for Friends and I look forward to the possibilities each new day gives me. Please help me pray for all the people it is my privilege to know and to pray for and with. It is His vineyard and I get to work in it and pray He is pleased with my labor and faithfulness to Him and His. Our reading today is Isaiah 13 and Luke 13. Isaiah for some 60 years was a prophet to Judah. In chapter 13 Isaiah is shown the final days of the Babylonians and speaks of the Medes that shall come against them. The overthrow of Babylon is described as the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Always remember that wickedness shall never triumph and we should never give up hope for God's redemption draweth nigh." What a day that shall be when my Jesus I shall see." In Luke 13 we see the man that had a vineyard and for three years he came and sought fruit and found none. The dresser of the vineyard asked for another year to try and get fruit from the fig tree before it would be destroyed. Read carefully the ministry of Jesus in this chapter and see the hope and also the great sadness that was pronounced upon the nation of Israel. Read carefully verses 24-30, the answer to the question asked in verse 23. The sad cry goes out in verses 34 and 35. In this chapter sister Ola has verses 3-5, 24-30 and verse 35 underlined in her Bible, great verses to highlight for future reading.
Pray one for the other.
