DAILY WALK

Good Morning, continue to pray for those with needs, and may we all put our Lord Jesus first in our lives. Our reading today is Isaiah 12 and Luke 12. Chapter 12 in Isaiah is totally to be viewed as in the Millennial reign. In this day of grace, as a believer, we certainly can sound forth all the verses in this chapter. I would highlight them all and most certainly memorize verses 2 and 3. In Luke 12 you certainly find the most convenient way to go to hell is to simply do nothing. Compare the words of Jesus from John 3:18 and then read the examples set forth of those that made riches their goal and not Christ Jesus. Verse 34 sums it up perfectly. Remember from Sunday we spoke of Judas Iscariot and the many messages he heard that gave him space to repent but he continued on and as John would describe, a thief. Money was so precious that he sold Jesus for the price of a slave. The Saviour meant nothing to him compared to his goal to be somebody and to have this world's wealth. Managing one's possessions is important for life's security but letting them manage you will be a loss in eternity. Listen to the teaching of verse 15 and then add verses 31 and 34 to your life's verses. Let's sum up our pitiful condition for it is found in Jesus's statement, verses 54-59. After a life of searching Solomon concludes, "Fear God and keep His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it is evil." Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14. What are the commandments of God at the time of Jesus and today? Believe on Him whom He has sent, Jesus, and seek first the kingdom of God.
