DAILY WALK
Good Morning, today we read Isaiah 2 and Luke 2. In Isaiah, we have the beginning of 16 major and minor prophets. If we keep in mind that two missions are going on at the same time. To speak to the people of repentance and their sin and also to foretell the future as God revealed it to them. There will be four time periods that will be addressed. The present people and their period, the forthcoming captivities, Messiah's coming to earth, and the Millennium. Look to see these periods as you read. Chapter 2 begins with the prophecy of the Millennium and goes into the present scattering of Israel. Then the tribulation is brought into view. In Luke 2 we have the most extensive details of the birth of Jesus and then to the time when Jesus was 12. Lest we forget there were believers in Israel and Simeon was certainly one that knew of Old Testament teachings.
Pray one for another
