DAILY WALK

Good Morning, it has been confirmed that our speaker for the combined men and women fellowship on the 28th will be Sheriff Ed McMahon. Our menu will be hamburgers, fries, salad, baked beans, and desserts. Hope you are making plans to attend. Men, please bring the beverages. This is our quarterly men's meeting that invites the ladies. Our reading today will be Isaiah Chapter 1 and the Gospel of Luke Chapter 1. Isaiah's public ministry places him during the reign of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah all Kings of Judah. Look at the condemnation given in verses 2-9. In my reading, I have found verse 18 to be the most welcome preaching verse. Come now!

In Luke 1 we find Luke, a Greek-speaking Gentile highly educated and a convert to Christianity. Luke gives the story of Elizabeth and Zacharias, and the birth of John. Luke also gives us the most complete details of Mary and Joseph and the birth of God's son, Jesus. There are six different Marys in the New Testament. Luke speaks more of the Holy Spirit than Matthew and Mark combined. I have highlighted verse 37. Read the chapters for today carefully.

Pray one for another and I pray Brian and Michael are well soon.
