DAILY WALK
Good Morning, the living Word was in front of the Pharisees and they did not receive Him. How easy it is to imagine oneself to be right with God and yet every day be turning away from Him and making a pretense at heart involvement. Today we read Song of Solomon chapter 6 and Mark chapter 14. Hallmark Movies have embraced the idea of love and made millions. The Shulamite woman is loved by a young man that praises her for her beauty with words that we must take the time to identify. "My dove, my undefiled is but one;"The beauty of love cannot be surpassed in this life and what did our Saviour reply the greatest of the commandments," to love God with all our heart and the second but to love thy neighbor as thyself." Do not forget Ecclesiastes when reading this Book. Why do we become so down on life is it not when our lives are out of balance? Such beauty is when the love is as it should be and the description is desired by all. Remember God is love and loves you as one who has no imperfections and it is the one that loves that makes it so not the one loved. Let us go to Mark chapter 14 and see the love of a person for the Lord Jesus, her Messiah and Redeemer. Look at verse 9 and weep for how many love the Saviour with the love that He deserves. In verse 10 we have the person that missed it all but was at one time considered a follower of our Lord. Remember the chorus, "I'll be true Lord Jesus I'll be true" or the song, "I surrender all"? Remember the Lord's Supper and the broken body and the blood. Remember the well-meaning Simon Peter and his declaration in verse 29. We serve God in our fleshly bodies please God do not let us be asleep when you need us most. Oh God, I would not be a Judas. Oh God, may I know my heart better than Simon Peter knew his in verses 67 and 68.
Pray one for another
