Good Morning, Doug Miller is in the hospital and Zack Luhnow has an aunt in serious condition in the hospital. Pray for all our people when you pray, please. Our reading today is Song of Solomon 1 and Mark 9. Song of Solomon or Song of Songs is a love story comprised of poems of two people in love. This book has also been stated to be The Believer's Love Song. The setting is of Oriental customs and is probably about Solomon and the Shulamite that not only was Solomon in love with, but she became his wife. This is a picture of love and not lust as the two look back upon their days of courtship when Solomon was in the Palace at Jerusalem and the bride was with her dad at an estate near one of Solomon's estates in Lebanon. Love is beautiful and can be blessed of God for He designed the relationship between a man and a woman. "Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine." Mark 9 if we keep in mind that the Kingdom of God is within us we can see the fulfillment of Jesus's statement in verse 1. Blessed Pentecost and the indwelling Holy Spirit in the believers. In this time of drawing near to our God to pray for the sick among us let us remember verse 23 and the statement "IF thou canst Believe". The teaching of our Lord with real fire in Hell is shown in verses 42-47. Instead of listening to people tell you what they believe listen to the Word of God for the truth from God Himself.  Is there a Hell? God says yes. Does Hell have a literal fire? God again says yes.
