DAILY WALK

Good Morning, today we celebrate the birthday of our great nation at Peace. Hope you can come and celebrate and worship our God that brought this great nation forth. 1776 July 4th. Happy Birthday, America. Our reading today is Ecclesiastes 1 and Matthew 26. The words of the Preacher begins Ecclesiastes. Like so many today Solomon sought to find happiness and satisfaction apart from God. Remember verse 9 which states there is no new thing under the sun. Occurring 29 times in this book under the sun means without God in the world. In Matthew 26 a woman comes to Jesus with an alabaster box and anoints His feet with oil. Afterward, Jesus will have the bread and wine with His disciples and will depart to enter the Garden of Gethsemane and will be betrayed by Judas. Peter would betray the Lord and the rooster will crow. Peter would find out his weakness and would find he would betray the Lord. There needs to be more Roosters in our day.
