DAILY WALK
Good Morning, upcoming events at Peace are Fathers' Day this coming Sunday, Vacation Bible School the last week of the month, and our 1776 celebration on July 2nd. Our reading today is Proverbs 12 and Matthew 6. Chapter 12 is a chapter of contrasts. You might take time to consider verse by verse the choice of items presented. Mr. Spurgeon relates an old proverb,"He that speaks truth shames the devil". Much truth will be found in the contrasts presented in chapter 12. Matthew 6 relates more teaching on the mount and includes the model prayer. Travelers to Israel will be shown the place where it is believed the sermon on the mount was given but the event means nothing if the King's teachings are not heeded. The King is Jesus and His sermon is straight and deliberate. You will study the sermon on the mount all your life and still unearth treasures when you are in your golden years. Highlight verses 20, 26, 33, and 34.
Pray one for another
