DAILY WALK

Good Morning, a celebration of life will be held tomorrow at 11 AM in the Green Lawn Cemetery and after the service our ladies will serve a luncheon for the family in the fellowship hall. A signup sheet has been posted if you would like to help with the meal. You can call Tammy at the church today as she is our benevolence contact for June. Since III John is so short we will also read the Book of Jude along with Proverbs 6. In Proverbs 6 we learn that a sure road to poverty is laziness. The little ant is given as an example of being industrious and if you have ever watched the ants around the ant hill I am sure you were amazed at their comings and goings. Always moving and even helping each other if the need comes. Please underline verses 20-29  and give yourself to this time of devotion. III John 11 is a good verse to underline and in Jude, I would spend a good while reading and digesting the truths found in the book written by the half-brother of Our Lord Jesus. It speaks against turning the Grace of God into lasciviousness which is immoral and lustful practices.

Sister Pat came through her surgery well and it was good to see her daughter Melanie again. Pray one for another.
