DAILY WALK
Good Morning, Please remember Sister Pat this morning as she is scheduled for her surgery today. Our reading today is Proverbs 5 and II John 1. Proverbs 5 in our day is more fitting than ever. Wisdom does not have to come by experience but can be gleaned from listening to the hard knocks already experienced by others and taken to heart. Surely it is hoped we do not have to try every item in life and experience every pain to learn the truths that can be hurtful and scar forever. Regard discretion! when knowledge is given without having to taste and touch it to decide if something is as taught. The dog will bite, and the stove is hot, accept the truth from others without having to experience the pain. In II John we have the instruction to abide in the doctrine of Christ as the way to complete victory and to not lose those things which we have wrought. John has been a faithful disciple can we learn from such a man of discipline? Second John is short but powerful in the context of Jesus leaving the care of His mother to this man that was so steady in practice. Notice the good teaching found in verses 10 and 11.
Pray one for another for God changes things.
