DAILY WALK
Good Morning, June 1 and the weather is still very cool for Eastern North Carolina. Would you agree that I John was written for Christians? In Chapter 2 we have a word in verse 2, propitiation. Propitiation can be understood as Jesus is the satisfaction, or price paid for our sins. In verse 1 we have the word advocate or go-between as a lawyer would plead our case. Putting these thoughts together we see Jesus the price paid pleading our case before the Father. In the Old Testament we read Proverbs 1 today and find the purpose of the Proverbs to be "To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtility to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion." Look at verse 10 and highlight it.
Pray one for another
