DAILY WALK

Good Morning, our VBS material came in yesterday and we look forward to putting together a great learning experience for our kids this year. I have always enjoyed VBS and I believe this year will be a great time of learning God's Word. 

Our reading today will be Psalm 119 and James 1. In Psalm 119 we look at verses 1 and 2. These start the discourse on the Word of God with 8 verses in each section and each section having to do with the Hebrew alphabet. In the second section, we have verse 11, and in the third section verses 17 and 18. Great verses for memorization throughout the longest chapter in the Bible. In James, we have a book written by the half-brother of our Lord Jesus. James was not an early believer but came to belief sometime before the post-resurrection appearance of our Lord. James is known most for his faith without works is dead. In the first verse, you discover this to be written to twelve tribes which at first make up the New Testament Church. This is not James the Apostle and brother of John. I have highlighted verses 2-5, 12, 15, 17 and 25.
