DAILY WALK
Good Morning, Soul winning Saturday is today and I hope you will be able to come. Our reading today comes from Psalms 102 and 103 and Hebrews 2. In Psalm 102 we hear the cry of the people and in the end of the chapter rising from great sorrow, we hear the hope of time to come. I have highlighted verses 22-27 for they are obviously the outlook from the millennium when victory shall be realized. God shall be present in the future generations for He is the same and shall not have an end. In chapter 103 the goodness of God is related by King David and the call to bless the name of the Lord. Not once but five times we hear David say Bless the Lord. You will certainly find many verses to highlight in this chapter and to find sweet comfort in God's loving forgiveness. In Hebrews 2 rejoice to hear and walk in the salvation provided by our Lord Jesus. The doctrine of salvation which represents the whole work of God by which He rescues man from eternal ruin. Jonah declared salvation is of the Lord and can you say, Amen? Highlight verses 14-18.
Please pray for Brother Tim and Mae Whaley, and the Campfield and Shelton families. " Abide with me! Fast falls the evening tide; The darkness deepens Lord, with me abide! When helpers fail, and other comforts flee, Help of the helpless, O abide with me!" The song "Abide with Me" was written by Pastor Henry Lyte after years of failing health. At the age of 54, he was succumbing to tuberculosis. His final message to his flock of more than twenty years was,"As from a dying man".
You do not have to sing the blessed hymns in church today, you can go to the worldly beat and the shallow words but think of the blessings missed from the Hymns of the faith.
