DAILY WALK
Good Morning, I hope you have a blessed day today . To start a new week is a joy as we can build on our goals and try to accomplish something that will make a difference for our Lord. I am blessed at this point in life to be serving and still have a servant's heart and love the work of the ministry. God is good. Thank you for allowing me to be your pastor. I hope to hear from Kitty's MRI this week sometime. Thank you for your prayers for her.
Our reading today is Psalm 74 and I Thessalonians 5. In Psalm 74 the leading of Holy Spirit in the writing of His Word talks about the destruction of the Temple. It is obvious that the Babylonian destruction, the destruction under Antiochus Epiphanese and the latter anti-christ are in view. Since God knows the beginning and the ending we give His Word to acknowledge more than just today or tomorrow. We also remember His mighty works from of old in establishing His present possibilities. Remember verse 12 before you move ahead. Our God is the Almighty God . In I Thessalonians 5 Paul is moved to write of the times and the seasons as viewed in natural settings and to also see the events of today in light of the happenings around us. Highlight verses 1-4, and 9-11, as well as 22-24. This as an important chapter for the Christian and I encourage the study and memorization of various truths as presented. While written to the people of Thessalonica notice the ending in verse 27 and see the implications to all the body of Christ I will close with the last verse, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen."
