DAILY WALK
Good Morning, men don't forget the men's fellowship tomorrow night at 6:30 at the church.
Our reading today will be Psalm 53 and Ephesians 2. In Psalm 53 we have a prayer for help. It was Ptolemy that counted only 1056 stars and then claimed that the actual number could be no more than 3000. How foolish when today we know there are over hundreds of billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy alone. How can you see a baby born and then declare there is no God or see a beautiful sunrise or sunset and make the same foolish statement? Memorize verses 1-3 and Romans 3:23 and pray for the foolish people around us and let us not be fools. The Book of Ephesians is the first of Paul's prison epistles a place that he had visited on his second missionary journey. On his third missionary journey he would spend about three years in Ephesus a great city but a center of cult-worship. How do you combat the cults? Present the truth. This book is the Christian's manual of the doctrine of salvation. Memorize verses 8 and 9 and certainly underline them in your Bible. One Lord- Jesus Christ. One faith-saving faith in Him. One baptism- Christian baptism. Diana was worshipped in Ephesus and idols were made of her but where sin abounded grace did much more abound.
Pray one for the other
