DAILY WALK

Good Morning, today on the National calendar is set aside for two important health days. Diabetes and triglycerides are the matters before us and both are to be taken seriously. Your heart and the other organs in your body are affected by these two. We are really up against it in this day for there are so many ingredients put in our food that will over time bring about the destruction of the body. I am not going to tell you I am a good example in this area but I do see the need to take care of your health and body for this body is what you will serve our Lord in and with. We really are what we eat.

Our reading today will be Psalm 51 and Galatians 6. Psalm 51 is the prayer of David after his great sin and this heartbreaking prayer is his testimony of the sorrow he bears. Like David in this Psalms Paul also in Galatians verses 7 and 8 feels the effects of sin and in verse 9 encourages the believer to not give up when he is doing right. Verse 11 may give some idea of the thorn in Paul's flesh that troubled him. Some believe Paul had some type of problem with his sight for Galatians is not a large letter but the print may well have been large. Paul in Galatians has appealed for orthodoxy in doctrine and separation from apostasy and also warns against petty quarreling which can and has destroyed from within many congregations.

Pray one for another. Janie was moved to Davis Rehab and Earl is still in North Chase Rehab.
