DAILY WALK
Good Morning, today is National hug a G. I. day. I don't know about hugging but if I run into a person in the service I think I will say thank you and shake his or her hand.
Read I Corinthians 11 and Psalm 27 today. I cannot forget Bert Goslin. Bert was a simple man with a great voice he used for God. For a good while he would go with me to the nursing homes and sing for the glory of God. His favorite verse was 10 of Psalm 27 because he had been abandoned by his parents when a child. They had placed him in an orphanage and he never heard from them after that. He would often say "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up." God has brought such great and loyal friends into my life over the years I often count my riches in people and not other things. I wish I could hear Bert sing again "His Eye is on the Sparrow or "Down from His Glory". In I Corinthians we have Paul telling us about the Lord's Supper and by the way the first Sunday Night of the month we have this memorial . "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."
Pray one for the other.
