Duties & Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Drive market penetration and identify new business opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to adapt strategies and maintain competitiveness.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop training plans to enhance team capabilities.
- Set clear sales objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
3. Key Account and Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the region.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally to strengthen trust and loyalty.
4. Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring timely reporting of key metrics to senior management.
- Prepare and present reports on sales progress, forecasts, and market trends.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
5. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand TP-Link’s market presence in Cape Town and surrounding regions.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the TP-Link brand.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Proactively identify risks related to customer relationships or sales operations and implement mitigation strategies.
